Terminator è un’ottima applicazione attraverso la quale possiamo avere più terminali nella stessa schermata/finestra. L’applicazione è già presente (in una versione precedente) nei repository ubuntu per installarlo basterà semplicemente avviare o Ubuntu Software Center o KpackageKit selezionarlo e cliccare su Applica o Installa.
Se invece vogliamo provare la nuova versione 0.92 con molte novità a riguardo ecco come fare.

Ecco come installare/aggiornare Terminator su K|X|Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic e 10.04 Lucid.
Apriamo il terminale e per prima cosa installiamo la la chiave d’autentificazione e repository scrivendo:
ora se abbiamo Terminator installata in una versione precedente basterà aggiornare la nostra Distribuzione altrimenti installiamo Terminator con un semplice:
sudo apt-get install terminator
e confermiamo. Ora avremo la nostra Terminator installata/aggiornata nella nostra Distribuzione
