Nuova release per Qmmp (Qt based Multimedia Player), player multimediale realizzato con il toolkit Qt, il quale si pone proprio come alternativa a Winamp.
Qmmp supporta la riproduzione dei formati MPEG, Ogg Vorbis, Native FLAC, Ogg FLAC, Musepack, ADTS AAC, etc e le skin di Winamp 2.x e XMMS, dispone di un equalizzatore a 10 bande e riproduce video attraverso Mplayer. Interessante anche il supporto ai testi e alle cover dei brani che si stanno ascoltano
Le novità della nuova versione 0.4.3:

Per installare Qmmp 0.4.3 su Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick e 10.04 Lucid utilizzeremo i PPA Qmmp per farlo avviamo il terminale e digitiamo:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:stiff.ru/qmmp-releases
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qmmp
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install qmmp
e confermiamo
